Eaton Partners Grows London Office, Hiring Two Sales Professionals to Enhance Firm’s European Distribution Capabilities

Rowayton, CT, September 18, 2013 – Eaton Partners, a leading independent global placement agent, is pleased to announce the addition of two senior sales professionals to their London office. Messrs. James McConaghy and Patrick Muûls will further enhance the firm’s European distribution capabilities.  Both of these gentlemen will join Eaton Partners as Vice President, focusing on the European distribution of the firm’s private equity, real assets, and real estate offerings. Now in its 30th year of operations, Eaton Partners has successfully raised capital from institutional investors globally for differentiated managers across a broad spectrum of alternative offerings. Increased demand for global fundraising expertise and advice has driven the continued expansion of the Eaton Partners team – this has led Eaton Partners to become one of the largest independent placement agents in the world.

Mr. McConaghy has over ten years of institutional marketing experience, and prior to joining Eaton Partners founded Roc Advisors, a London based placement agent focused on private equity and real assets. Previously, Mr. McConaghy was Vice President at Credit Agricole in the Private Funds group, where he focused on distribution to European institutional investors. Prior to Credit Agricole he was an Associate at Candela Capital, a London based boutique placement firm. Mr. McConaghy began his career in Boston at Eaton Vance in the managed accounts group.  He holds a B.A. from the University California Santa Barbara and is licensed with the FCA in Europe.

Mr. Muûls brings over seven years of financial services experience, and prior to joining Eaton Partners was with Corestate Capital, where he was responsible for capital raising and investor relations, focused on private equity real estate. Previously, Mr. Muûls was at Adams Street Partners, a private equity fund of funds and was at Credit Suisse in the investment banking division.  Mr. Muûls holds a CEMS Master’s in International Management and was awarded a MA in Management Engineering from the Louvain School of Management.  He is a native French and Spanish speaker and is fluent in English, Italian, and German.  He is licensed with the FCA in Europe.
