– Industry veteran and longtime partner to retire from day-to-day responsibilities –
Rowayton, CT, April 23, 2015 – Eaton Partners (“Eaton”), the leading independent global fund placement agent, announced today that longtime partner David M. Love has retired from his role as partner at the firm to serve as a Senior Advisor. For more than 17 years, Mr. Love has served in various executive roles at Eaton including leading the firm’s efforts in San Diego, Shanghai and Hong Kong. As a Senior Advisor, he will provide counsel on the strategic direction of the firm and the fundraising market in general.

Mr. Love has been involved in nearly all facets of the investment management business for more than 47 years. During his ten years as an investment analyst and Senior Vice President with H. C. Wainwright & Co., he earned a national reputation and was twice named to a first team position on Institutional Investor’s All American Research Team. Prior to joining Eaton, Mr. Love served as President of Kenmar Institutional Investment Management; President of Marathon Asset Management Co.; Senior Vice President for Atalanta/Sosnoff Capital Corporation; and Executive Vice President of RSF Investment Advisers. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BBA degree in Economics and an MBA in Finance. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
